This cherry-coloured crystal is one of the many available forms of Quartz. With blushing red and pink hues, there’s no denying the beauty of this semi precious stone.

However, some would be surprised to find that this crystal is not naturally occurring. It’s a human-made stone forged out of reconstituted Quartz. The quartz is melted and mixed with cinnabar. After this mixture is cooled, it is shaped and carved into beautiful stones. It sometimes has a pinkish hue. Cherry quartz gets its name because of the presence of the scarlet hue of the cinnabar.
