These instructions relate to both the GREAT GAMES & LITTLE BOX GAMES versions we have produced before, as seen in the below images:
Each player, by throwing the dice, tries to complete drawing his beetle.
Each player must begin by throwing a 1: this enables him to draw the body, and a 2 must be thrown to link the head to the body, before the eyes or feelers can be added.
The rolls are:
1 = the body, of which there is just one
2 = the head, of which there is just one
3 = a leg, of which there are six
4 = the feelers (antennae), of which there are two
5 = the eyes, of which there are two
6 = the tail, of which there is one
Sometimes it is agreed that a player may continue to throw in his turn for as long as he throws parts of the body he can use. When a series of games is played, each player counts one point for every part of the beetle he has been able to draw in each round and the cumulative scores are carried forward from round to round. The player with the most points after all rounds are completed is the winner.
