How To Play Nine Mans Morris:

To start: Each player takes nine marbles of the same colour. The players alternately place a marble in an empty cup, the object being to get three marbles in a row along any line. When both players have placed all their marbles, they take turns moving one marble one cup along any line to an unoccupied cup, still trying to get three in a row in order to remove an opposing marble. The marble being removed must only be taken from a line of three if there are no spare marbles. To re-use an existing line of three, it must be broken, i.e. a marble moved in one turn may be returned in the next. The winner is the player who reduces their opponent to two marbles or succeeds in cornering all opposing marbles so that they are unable to move.
