Shipping Policy

When we refer to ‘Working Day’ or ‘Next Working Day’ our definition of a working day is Monday to Friday inclusive, in other words: working weekdays! While we acknowledge not all people work a Monday to Friday week, this is how the postal and courier companies we work with define it and we do too.

Standard Delivery: Your order will be shipped by our designated Courier at 2.30 pm on the next working day after your order is placed (or on the same day if your order is received before 2 pm). We expect to have your order to you within 3 working days of dispatch. We do not send parcels over the weekend or on bank holidays, and orders will not arrive on weekend or Bank holiday days either. We try to keep postage to the lowest charge possible but with a good service.

Next Day / Express Delivery: Your order will be shipped by our designated Courier at 2.30 pm on the next working day after your order is placed (or on the same day if your order is received before 2 pm). We expect to have your order to you within 1 working day of dispatch. We do not send parcels over the weekend or on bank holidays, and orders will not arrive on weekend or Bank holiday days either. Worldwide Shipping: Worldwide shipping is available for very reasonable rates and should also arrive within 3 working days of dispatch, provided goods are not held by customs. When in the checkout area enter your shipping address and postage will be calculated based on the weight of items. We ship worldwide using DHL, Royal Mail and FedEX.

There may at times be delays to orders for reasons beyond our control, however we will keep you informed at all times if there is an unexpected delay to your order.

Additional Information

The Channel Islands: This is classed as overseas deliveries by our UK Courier DPD & therefore need to be sent via our International Courier DHL. When sending to these locations the please select the island name as the Country in the drop-down menu (i.e. Jersey, Guernsey) as there is an additional charge involved & we cannot send through Royal Mail. Any orders where this has not been done will need to be cancelled.

Courier Information

Please note that if your order has been shipped to you by DPD then their normal delivery times are between 8.30 am & 6 pm Monday to Friday, although in the busiest times parcels may be delivered later in the evening up until 8 pm (normally around Christmas time). You cannot select the time for delivery but if the estimated delivery time is not suitable for you then you can self-select for the parcel to be left in a safe place or with a neighbour of your choosing. Unfortunately it is not possible to change the deliver address after the order has been consigned with the courier (normally after 3pm on the next working day after your order (which may be the same day).

Our other courier for deliveries within the UK is Fed Ex and estimated delivery times are not stated by Fed Ex. Goods are normally sent via Fed Ex if there is a large number of items, several large items or if more than one case of nuggets or pebbles have been ordered. This is because we try to keep the delivery costs to a minimum so that we can provide the most reasonable costs available to our customers.

International deliveries are sent via DHL on a 3 working day tracked service. More information can be found on the International Delivery page of our website (CLICK HERE).

All our services aim to deliver your goods to you within 3 working days from dispatch, although from time to time there may be conditions outside of our control which may delay this. Some examples of delays are items being held at customs (in the case of overseas deliveries) or due to extreme weather conditions such as snow.
